The PutzMeister concrete pumper from Gordy's arrives the morning of the pour. This 22 ton machine is nothing short of an engineering marvel. It has twin articulated front steering as can be seen in this photo. The 5 section boom will extend 130 feet. There are 4 outriggers that will extend to fully cover both my front yard and that of my neighbors front yard. The concrete will flow out of the hose at the business end of the boom at a rate which emptied 70 cubic yards of concrete from 7 cement trucks in less than 2 1/2 hours. Nothing short of astounding.
